  1. When I first moved here, I was never without a mint in my mouth. Major dry mouth. But it’s not so bad now that I’m used to it. Still, I started out as a plum, and now I look like a dried up raisin. 😀

    • maybe you’ll rehydrate to a plum in Oregon? it’s been a year since my daughter quit talking to me 😦 can’t believe it’s been that long. it’s also been a year since my son left on his mission for two years. one down, one to go. let’s hope it goes as fast as this first year did. i am looking forward to him being home again, even if he gets his own place.

      • I haven’t talked to my son in over a year. A couple of weeks ago, he emailed one of my sisters, asking her for money. I don’t think he would dare ask me. And I don’t think he’s ever gonna grow up. Maybe I wasn’t the best of mothers, but I’ve stopped blaming myself. It’s up to him now.

        • ya, i’m finally getting that…that it’s up to her now. and like you say, maybe i wasn’t the best mom, but i gave it my all every single day for 17 yrs and that oughta count for something. maybe someday…i don’t cry every time i think about her now, so that’s an improvement anyway.
